
ATHLETICS UPDATE: Monday 10/28: Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Amherst @ Williamsville East 5:30pm;
Wednesday, 10/30: Varsity Girls Volleyball @ Iroquois 6pm (Class B1 pre-quarterfinal); Friday. 11/1: Varsity Football vs. Maritime Charter School at Johnnie B. Wiley Stadium in Buffalo, 7pm.

FFA held its first-ever Adult Skills Challenge on Oct. 25, Five teams competed in tractor driving, welding, Agronomy/forage ID, vet science & dairy judging. On top of that, they drew the winner of the 8N Pink Ford Tractor: Downs Family Farm in Attica. Raffle proceeds to Roswell.





Pioneer Marching Panthers had their best score of the season, 74.40, at the NYS Field Band Conference in Syracuse Sunday. They were 7th out of 10 bands in their division. Thanks to a great year!


Some of our Pioneer Middle School teachers presented at the NYS Middle School Association conference & met one of their heroes, Jack Berckemeyer! Good job, Mr. Souder, Dr. Higgins, Ms. Pidsadnick, and Mrs.Wood!


One last reminder about FFA's Adult Skills Contest tomorrow (10/25) at the HS Ag Department Wing & back parking lot at 5:30pm. $10 entry includes dinner. Plus they'll be raffling off the pink Ford tractor, benefitting Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Selkirk Sport, makers of pickleball equipment, sponsor the Selkirk Growth Program, in which they are donating 1000 paddles for the growth of pickleball. Pioneer staffer & pickleball enthusiast Erik Maeder applied for the grant & recently presented the Physical Education department with 4 new paddles!

Field Hockey marked its 50th anniversary with an alumni game at the turf field on Saturday! Trailblazing coach Valerie Relyea, the mother of Pioneer field hockey, was present for the face-off.Over 30 former players took par. Here's to the next 50 years!
