Varsity football schedule for 2023 is out!
APRIL WELLNESS EVENT: There will be a hike and picnic at Allegany State Park on Thursday, April 13. If any student is interested in going, please come to the high school office for a permission slip.
Earlier this week, several members of Student Government attended the NYS Council on Leadership and Student Activities. The conference was held at Niagara Falls Convention Center. Mrs. Hermann and Ms. Buszka attended as their advisors!
Pioneer plans its 1st school-wide Wellness Wednesday on March 29, promoting positivity, well-being, and mental health. Teachers are urged to create fun & engaging activities in their classrooms. There will be no homework that night so students can focus on quality family time.
Section VI All-Stars Cohen Lyons (left) and Seth Higgins focus in on a state title. The New York State Rifle Invitational will take place on Saturday, March 11, at the Lancaster Field House. This will be Cohen's 3rd and Seth's 2nd appearance in the State Tournament.
Congrats to Girls Varsity Basketball team for their 51-29 playoff win over Lackawanna. Panthers will host EA in a quarterfinal Saturday at noon. Tickets $1 at the door. @pi_one_er

BOYS BASKETBALL UPDATE: Wednesday's Pioneer win over EA secured a share of the 2022-23 Division 3 championship, and earned the Panthers a 1st round bye for the sectional playoffs. This follows the 2021-22 season when the Panthers earned their first division championship in decades. Pioneer will be hosting a quarterfinal playoff game on Saturday, Feb. 25, with the opponent and time to be determined at the postseason seeding meeting on 2/18..

The February wellness event will be a snowshoeing hike at Allegany State Park on Feb 9. This will be a full-day event and includes lunch as well as the rental of a lodge with games and a place to relax afterward. Snowshoes are provided. If there is no snow this will turn into a winter hike. Stop by the office and register as spots are limited to the first 28 students.
