NYS Youth Justice Institute is launching a Youth Justice Peer Advisory Council. Young adults (age 18-25) interested in advising state and local youth justice leaders on youth policies and practices, and system reform should apply. Is your high school student in need of a summer job? If they will be 15 by June 30, 2023, now is the time to talk to their guidance counselor to sign up for the half-year Lifeguard course taught at Pioneer High School during the school day. Upon completion, participants will be certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED and First Aid. Students can then use their certification to apply for Lifeguarding positions at school and town pools.
