With the 2022-23 school year approaching, Pioneer Middle School would like to share information about student use of personal cell phones during school. Please discuss with your students, keeping in mind that we will make and communicate adjustments as needed.
Phones stay in lockers EXCEPT during lunch or with express permission from a teacher. Any other time, phone will be taken by staff to the office and a referral written for tracking purposes.
- 1st offense: student retrieves
- 2nd offense: student retrieves & call home
- 3rd offense: parent/other designated adult retrieves
If more than three infractions occur, consequences may be greater and may result in the phone being kept in office every day.
Students who are belligerent or uncooperative will receive additional consequences.
