The U.S. flag that flies outside Pioneer Middle School is being treated with honor and respect by the team charged with raising and lowering it.
That team includes Matthew Daggett, art teacher and Pioneer alum who is a former member of the military. He is working with 8th grader Tyler Wagner, whose job it is to raise and lower Old Glory each day.
ABOVE: The care shown by the middle school flag team is immeasurable.
The duties extend to Mr. Daggett teaching Tyler the proper way to fold and respect the Stars and Stripes.
