The Pioneer Giving Tree Program would like to thank all that have contributed to help make 2022 another successful year.
The Giving Tree was started over 20 years ago by Pioneer PRO (Panthers Reaching Out). In the aftermath of 9/11, Pioneer staff and students looked for a way to provide community service with meaningful results.
As in recent years, the 2022 Giving Tree appeal sought monetary donations from organizations, businesses and individuals to support needy families.
According to PRO advisor Louise Herrick, all donations stay within the Pioneer community.
Mrs. Herrick sent a special thank you to the Arcade American Legion and Arcade VFW, which again sent representatives to the high school to present a check with their generous donation.
