Pioneer High School students were greeted at their lockers with words of affirmation provided by the Diversity Club.
According to advisor Ms. Victoria Tomasulo, "Some students and I taped up positive words of affirmation on the lockers in the main hallways of the school—by the library, by the cafeteria, near the distance learning lab, and by some of the math rooms. We're hoping this promotes more positivity between students and helps boost some of their confidence, especially as we inch closer to exams.
"We're hoping the hearts last and don't become litter. The students worked really hard on them and made over 1,500 hearts," Ms. Tomasulo added.
