Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the New York State Education Department has announced the cancellation of January 2022 administration of Regents exams.
Pioneer High School was notified of the change on Dec. 21. The cancellation applies to all Regents exams that were scheduled for Jan. 25-28.
Principal Mark Schultz said that week will be a regular academic week of instruction. "School counselors will be in touch with students who were in need of a January exam to explain how credit can be earned," he said.
