The Pioneer Vex Robotics Team has been to the State Championships in Syracuse 6 out of the last 8 years. Our goal is to make it to the World Finals in Lexington, Kentucky. We need some students that are interested in competing at a very serious and high level. These competitions are more intense than almost any sporting event. We compete against other teams from Syracuse to Buffalo. This summer camp will be to get a head start on the design of the robot and what our goals are going to be as a team. The team will also have to come up with a strategy to play the game. Some of the duties include: designing, assembling, programming, keeping the engineering notebook, driving, and we need someone to facilitate the team and take charge of work time for the preparation of the competitions.
