Walker Bekiel has signed his letter of intent to play football at Buffalo State, according to Pioneer Athletic Director William Weidner.
Walker was a two-year starter for the Panthers at defensive back and split end. In his senior year, he was a team captain and first-team All-League, and was selected to play in the Big 30 New York vs. Pennsylvania All-Star Game.
Pioneer football coach Jim Duprey said, "Walker was always a big game player as he scored crucial touchdowns in our playoff wins over Albion and Maryvale."
Walker is the son of Monica and Todd Bekiel of Arcade.
