Spoken word poet and artist Robert Pomerhn visited English teacher Ian Wienclawski's creative writing class for a multi-day workshop on April 27.

Mr. Pomerhn used his newest book, The Covid Diaries (Highest Hurdle Press), to teach students how poetry and journal writing can play important roles in reflection, healing, and forgiveness during difficult times.
Students first engaged with his art and poetry and then composed and showcased their own original pieces.
