Students in Grades 3-8 across New York State will soon be taking the Common Core New York State English Language Arts and Math Assessments. The schedule is as follows:
ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS
Session 1: Tuesday, March 29
Session 2: Wednesday, March 30

Session 2: Wednesday, April 27
You can help your child do his/her best on the test in the following ways:
- Provide a good night’s sleep.
- Have your child to school on time– testing begins promptly at 9:30 AM.
- Keep your child home only if he/she is sick – any test session missed must be made up March 31-April 8 for ELA, and April 28th- May 9 for Math.
