STEAM is the study of science, technology, engineering, arts and math, and is gaining a following among Arcade Elementary students after school.
The faculty team of Mrs. Jessica Zymowski, Miss Jenna Fontaine, Miss Amanda Steltermann, Mrs. Elizabeth Blesy and Mrs. Ashley Sieber have become the STEAM dream team. Each week these teachers work together to plan STEAM activities for third and fourth grade students.
The lessons are hands-on and require critical thinking skills. Students who engage in STEAM club work together to learn coding, states of matter and engineering and so much more.
