On Oct. 1, all Arcade students attended a fire safety assembly. The assembly was conducted by the Arcade Fire Department.
The children learned about how to escape during a fire, how not to start a fire, and how to respond to fire drills and alarms.
The volunteer firefighters brought their equipment so that the children were able to see what they wear. They also brought a fire engine for the children to see.
