For the first time since 2019, there will be a Panther 5K Run and Basket Auction to benefit the Pioneer Cross Country team.
Coach Mary Doud said the event will be held on the Memorial Turf Stadium track and the high school/middle school athletic fields on Tuesday, August 2, at 6:30 p.m.

The 5K run/1K fun walk/Basket Auction was last held in 2019 and was not held in 2020-21. It features prizes for the top finishers, and T-shirts for the first 50 registrants. Those who do not pre-register are asked to report at 5:30 p.m. by the high school track because the event will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.
Pre-registration costs $15; it is $20 the day of the event.
