reorganization

The 2022-23 school year is under way for the Pioneer Board of Education.

The board held its first meeting of the year July 12 and went about the process of reorganizing.

Melissa Nocera-Collins will continue as board president, and Edward McCarthy was re-elected as vice president.

Mark Kless attended his first regular meeting, having been sworn in back on July 1.  He was elected in May, replacing Mary Lou Merlau for a five-year term.

In personnel matters, tenure was granted to Lisa Selbert (Delevan physical education teacher) and Stacy Grigsby (remedial reading teacher).

Two retirements were accepted, one from long-time Delevan greeter Kathleen Raines, and the other from high school teacher aide Donna Neamon. Both retirements take effect in late September.
