Pioneer School District voters approved the 2022-23 General Fund budget and $28 million in new capital improvements during polling conducted May 17.
Mark Kless beat incumbent Mary Lou Merlau, 949-506, for a five-year term on the Board of Education.
Next year's budget totals $62.4 million and increases spending 5.03 percent. The tax levy increase is 2.98 percent.
The capital improvement project would help complete current renovations in the high school auditorium, replace the HVAC system at Delevan, and fund upgrades at the turf stadium.
