Food service offers free 'grab & go' meal pickups

Pioneer Food Service Department is offering healthy breakfast and lunch meals for pickup for children in the school district age 18 and younger.

Parents/guardians must fill out this form by Wednesday at noon each week so that food service staff knows how much food to prepare.

All children 18 and under qualify for the free meals. The request form must be completed each week with the names of every child who will receive the meals.

All counts will be finalized on Wednesday at noon for the following week’s meals. Anything after that will not be included.

Meals will be in the form of “grab and go” Meal Pack and include all required elements of a well-rounded breakfast and lunch as per USDA guidelines.

Meals packs will contain one breakfast and one lunch per child for each day, unless specified otherwise in the request form.

Meals are available at no cost.

Meal pick-up will be at Pioneer Middle School (12132 Old Olean Road, Yorkshire) Monday and Wednesday from 11:00am - 1:00pm and 4:00pm - 6:00pm.  The schedule for Track A, B, C and D students is in the form.

Children do not need to be present in order for meals to be provided.
