Dear Pioneer Families,
Welcome back to a new and exciting school year!
I hope this letter finds you well and that you enjoyed a fun and relaxing summer. As always, summer seems to fly by, and this year was no exception. That said, I'm thrilled to welcome you and your children back to Pioneer for the 2026-27 school year.
We will kick off the year with our Parent/Student Orientation on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Here is a K-4 schedule outlining the day's activities.
This event offers a valuable opportunity to meet our administrators and school staff, ask questions, and get comfortable with the school environment, helping to ensure a smooth and successful start to the year.
As we begin the new school year, we are continuing our strong focus on reducing chronic absenteeism. Because every day of learning matters, we will work closely with families to address barriers and create a school culture that encourages and supports being at school every day.
We also want to connect with you more! Family relationships shape our culture, and when families feel connected to Pioneer, our schools become stronger and more resilient. We will be planning many fun events, and we look forward to connecting with you throughout the year.
The year ahead brings exciting opportunities for learning, growth, success, and fun I It's also a time for students to build friendships and create lasting memories. Enjoy the final days of summer, and we look forward to seeing you on September 1st!
Sincerely,
Nicholas J. Silvaroli
Superintendent of Schools
