The Pioneer Board of Education approved Shawn Hannon as president and Jim Fleischman as vice president at its July 7 reorganization meeting.
It was the third time Mr. Hannon and Mr. Fleischman were tapped for one-year officer terms. They were administered the oath of office at the meeting.
The oath was also administered to the two winners of the most recent Board of Education election, incumbent Kate Uhteg and Shannon King. Both were elected to five-year terms.
Jakob Owens was present as one of two student representatives to the board. He is an incoming senior and will give periodic reports at board meetings throughout 2026-27.
