The senior class isn't the only graduating class for 2026. A big list of retirees has also joined that club.
Pioneer School District took time out on June 26 to wish happy retirement to several employees, with the roster of teachers racking up over 200 years of service, and support staff logging nearly 100 years of service.
The faculty retirees included the Pioneer High School Science Department's Susan Saeli, Glenn Mucha, and Thomas Clouse; high school English Language Arts teacher Ian Wienclawski and Foreign Language teacher Kim Antonio; and 5th grade teacher Julie Gates and 7th grade Social Studies teacher Maura Birdd of Pioneer Middle School.
Retiring teaching assistants from Delevan Elementary included Dawn Farr, Barb Keem, and Helen Boling. High School teaching assistant Kathleen Cook also is retiring as well as Hall Monitor Jodi Jednat; along with Arcade Elementary's Pam Eigenbbrod (teaching assistant) and Donna Clinch (cleaner).
Retiring CA BOCES staff include Lynn Hensel and Roberta Schuster.
