Delevan Elementary 4th grader Bo Andrews is one of 18 Western New York students headed to Jim Kelly Football Camp this summer at no cost, thanks to a special initiative from Univera Healthcare that celebrates healthy living and active lifestyles.

Bo and his family, including parents Chad and Barb Andrews, were recognized during a special celebration held May 28, at Univera's headquarters in Williamsville. The event brought together families, community partners, and Univera employees to honor the students’ commitment to staying active and making healthy choices.

“This opportunity goes beyond the field. It encourages kids to stay active while giving them a chance to build confidence, form connections, and be inspired by what they can achieve,” said Paul Valley, president of Univera Healthcare.

Following Valley’s welcome remarks, students and families watched a special video message from Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, who shared words of encouragement and excitement ahead of their camp experience.

Students then participated in a fun, interactive “Fuel for Football” activity led by Univera Healthcare’s registered dietitians. The hands-on session taught kids how to prepare well-balanced snacks at home to stay energized for sports, school, and everyday activities.

Each student received a custom Univera Healthcare football jersey autographed by Kelly and had the opportunity to pose for photos with an oversized “ticket” to the 2026 Jim Kelly Football Camp. Student artwork and written entries responding to the prompt, “What is your favorite way to stay healthy?” were also displayed, highlighting the creativity and enthusiasm of participants.
