Pioneer School District voters will decide on a general fund budget proposal of $71,280,571 for 2-26-2027, and choose from among three candidates for two five-year school board terms.
Polling is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Pioneer High School.

Along with the budget, voters will weigh in on a proposition to create a Capital Improvements Reserve Fund of up to $25 million.
The school board election has three candidates—incumbent Kate Uhteg, Carol McCarville, and Shannon King. The top two vote-getters will serve new five-year terms.
Proof of residency must be provided at the polls. To vote in the election:
1) You must be at least 18 years of age.
2) You must be a U.S. citizen.
3) You must have lived in the Pioneer School District for a period of not less than 30 days
prior to the day of the vote.
