The Pioneer School District Social Work Department has announced its January winner for its Caught in the Act recognition program, Principal Stephanie Sullivan of Delevan Elementary.

Mrs. Sullivan was cited by fellow staff members. Her nomination reads as follows:

"Stephanie Sullivan consistently leads by example and steps up to support the team whenever additional help is needed due to staff absences. She also hosted a staff luncheon for all employees prior to Christmas break. Stephanie listens carefully and understands that each situation is unique; while always upholding the high standards she has set for our building.

"Stephanie continually meets student needs when she assists not only with difficult student behavior issues in classrooms but will also develop positive relationships with students daily. She is never too busy to listen to a student or show an interest in what a student is doing."
