“Winterfest is for Lovers” is the theme of this year’s Arcade Winterfest, being held Feb. 13-14.
Pioneer seniors will vie for the Winterfest Royalty Crown on Friday, Feb. 13, inside Arcade Elementary School Auditorium.
Arcade Elementary will also host the craft show on Saturday, Feb. 14, in the gymnasium.
Arcade's Main Street will again be the site of the Wacky Winterfest Parade on Feb. 14, followed by the Braving the Elements 5K.
A Kids Fun Run will happen at 1:30 p.m., in the Arcade Village Park.
The Arcade Historical Society is once again hosting the Pioneer Central Student Art Show during Winterfest. Artwork by students in grades K through 12 from all four of the Pioneer schools will be on display.
The art show will open on Winterfest Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you cannot make it that day, the show will also be open on the following Tuesdays and Wednesdays: Feb. 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The art show is at the Old Fire Hall, 15 Liberty Street, Arcade, in spacious galleries on the second floor. The building is fully accessible with a ramp at the front entrance and an elevator.
