The Pioneer Marching Band invites everyone to experience the world through eyes of a child with their 2025 field show, "Pure Imagination."

"Pure Imagination" transports viewers and listeners to step into the enchanting world of a kid's fantasy. The show captures the boundless creativity of youth, reminding us of the magic that exists in one's mind.

Some of the musical pieces in "Pure Imagination" include the title theme from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and "A Million Dreams" from "The Greatest Showman."

The arrangement for "Pure Imagination" is by Luke McMillan, and the drill is by Amanda McPartland. The director of the Pioneer Marching Band is April Woolley, assisted by Jared Burch. Color Guard is directed by Carolyn Kosinski and Jeanine Wende. Pit Instruction is by Sydney Wiseman, and the Visual Instructor is Megan Wiedemann.

The band will appear at the following field shows: Saturday, Sept. 13, at West Seneca East; Saturday, Sept. 20, at Medina; Saturday, Sept. 27, at Lancaster; Saturday, Oct. 18, at Orchard Park; and Sunday, Oct. 26, at the New York Field Band Conference in Syracuse. Additionally, the band will be performing at the Pioneer Homecoming game halftime on Oct. 3. Seniors will be recognized at the Oct. 24 home football game.
