Delevan Elementary School will start 2025-26 with a new administrator in the principal chair.

Stephanie Sullivan takes over Michael Jansma, who has moved on to head a school closer to home.

Mrs. Sullivan shared her biographical information below:

"I am incredibly excited and honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Delevan Elementary School. It is a true privilege to join such a dedicated and passionate community of educators. I look forward to working alongside our talented staff, students, and families to foster a supportive and enriching learning environment where every student can thrive.

"For the past 16 years, I had the joy of teaching 5th grade at Springville Elementary School. For the last three years, I’ve served as the assistant principal for both Springville Elementary and Middle School. These experiences have deepened my commitment to creating schools where students are inspired, teachers are empowered, and families feel connected.\

"Outside of school, I am happily married to my husband Tyler, and we have three wonderful children who keep us busy and proud. Our oldest daughter, Kailea, is entering her senior year at SUNY Fredonia, where she plays libero on the collegiate volleyball team. Isabella, our middle daughter, is a sophomore at SGI and plays on the varsity basketball team and junior varsity soccer team. Our youngest, James, will be entering 4th grade at Springville Elementary. He’s active in football, baseball, and tagging along to his sisters’ events. We also share our home with two dogs, Bear and Luna.  We love spending time outdoors, exploring new places and bonding over delicious food.

"The Pioneer School District truly feels like a family, and I’m thrilled to now be part of the Delevan Elementary community. I look forward to all we will accomplish together in the year ahead!"
