The Pioneer Board of Education will seek to fill two five-year terms in its annual election and budget vote on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
Balloting will take place at Pioneer High School from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Incumbent Amanda McKerrow, who was elected last year to fill the balance of a one-year term, is in the running for a full term. Other candidates include Cory Higgins, Stephanie Moore, and Lowell Cleveland.
The top two vote-getters will fill the board seats. More information about the candidates and the 2025-26 general fund budget will be forthcoming in the annual Pioneer budget guide, to be mailed to homes in early May.
Former board president Melissa Nocera-Collins, who has the longest tenure on the panel at 15 years, is not seeking re-election.
