About 75 people attended the annual Legislative Breakfast, hosted at Pioneer High School on Feb. 1.

The breakfast is held annually at the start of budget deliberations. Representing the State Legislature were George Borrello, newly elected to the Senate from the 57th district, and Assemblyman Joseph Giglio, representing the 148th district out of Gowanda.
The Allegany-Cattaraugus Association of School Boards organizes the Legislative Breakfast. Superintendents and school board members from across the Southern Tier are invited to attend and share their concerns regarding school aid and unfunded mandates from Albany.
