A couple of special visitors made Delevan Elementary's Literacy Night on Jan. 17 a memorable one.
Clifford the Big Red Dog was on hand to greet the children. So was children's author Michael Shoulders, who gave presentations in the aud to grades UPK-1st, and 2nd-4th.
Mr. Shoulders is from Clarksville, TN. He is not only the author of 16 books, he also travels the country talking to students about writing and sharing his love of the craft.

Literacy Night included food and games, and was sponsored by Delevan PTA.
