Fall favorites are on the menu as the Pioneer Middle School choral ensembles and 6th/7-8 orchestras perform in concert on Thursday, Nov. 21. The show starts at 7:00 p.m., inside George C. Crawford Auditorium at Pioneer High School.
The 6th Grade Orchestra, led by Mr. David Chatteron, will play these pieces:
- Haydn's Surprise, arranged by Caponegro
- Chicken on a Fencepost, arranged by Brooks/Jurik
The 7-8 Orchestra, also directed by Mr. Chatterton, will perform:
- Science Friday, by Lorie Gruniesen
- Conquistador, by Deborah Bake Mondey
The 7-8 Chorus, directed by Dr. Kim Higgins, will perform:
- Monday, Monday, arranged by Roger Emerson
- The Lion Sleeps Tonight, arranged by Jeff Funk
- Syncopated Clock, arranged by Greg Gilpin
The 5-6 Chorus, directed by Mrs. Donna Catalano, will do these pieces:
- Dance of the Wind by Cristi Cary Miller
- My Own Song
