The public has 30 days to comment on Pioneer School District's plan to utilize a new round of funding from the Smart School Band Act (SSBA).
The Pioneer Board of Education heard a presentation on SSBA at its June 20 regular meeting.
The Smart Schools Bond Act (SSBA) funds will provide technology enhancements in the following areas:
high speed broadband or wireless internet
acquire learning tech equipment
construct, enhance, & modernize facilities
high-tech security features
New York State will provide $ 3,185,924, to the Pioneer School District. The board took no action on the proposal.
