SUBSTITUTE TEACHING EMPLOYMENT
Qualified substitute teachers are continuously recruited. Certification is preferred but not required. A responsible work history is a must as well as a background check & fingerprint clearance. Applications are reviewed by Jeannene Wagner, Director of Human Resources, on a rotating bases. Start by completing the certified online application.

CLASSIFIED OR NON-INSTRUCTIONAL EMPLOYMENT
Pioneer employs a variety of professionals outside of the classroom. Teacher aides. teaching assistants, food service workers, nurses, custodial, groundskeepers, clerical workers, IT professionals, monitors and building cleaners are employed in 10-, 11- and 12-month full- and part-time positions. Pioneer school-related professionals are required to be Civil Service approved. If you are not currently on the approved list from NYS Civil Service, please download & fill out a Wyoming County Civil Service application. Substitute school-related professionals are needed on a continuing basis. These include clerks, teacher aides, school monitors, food service helpers, and cleaners. Pioneer school-related professionals are required to be Civil Service approved (see application below). Either mail a completed Civil Service application to Jennifer Higgins, Pioneer Central School District Office, PO Box 579, Yorkshire, NY 14173, or drop it off at the District Office located at Pioneer Senior High School.
