Hello and welcome to my web page! Just a little about myself for those of you who don't know me. I think I knew I wanted to be a teacher from about the age of 9, so upon graduating from Roberts Wesleyan College in 1988 with degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology, I enthusiastically accepted a teaching position in the Pioneer District in 1989. I was particularly thrilled since I was a Pioneer graduate myself and have a fondness for our wonderful community. I later received my Master's degree from SUNY Geneseo in 1994.I am married and live in East Concord. My husband's name is Gary, and he is a physical education teacher at Springville-Griffith Middle School. I have three sons a daughter-in-law, and two adorable grandchildren! My oldest son, Brent Owens, his wife, Chelsea and their children, Grayson and Josie, live in Mt. Morris, NY. Brent and Chel teach (physical education and high school english respectively) in nearby districts. My middle son, Ryan Owens, recently graduated from Wagner College on Staten Island and will be taking the NYS Trooper test in October. My youngest son, Trevor Owens, is a sophomore at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester. He is majoring in nursing. My children and grandchildren are my joy and keep me very busy traveling to visit them. In my spare time I enjoy reading, golfing, boating and playing guitar.
I can be reached at school at (716) 492-9300 ext. 3405. The best time to contact me is between 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. or during my planning time from 1:35 - 2:25 p.m.
