Delevan PTA

  • pta handParents, business leaders, grandparents and interested community residents are encouraged to join the Delevan Elementary School Chapter of the National PTA in its ongoing effort to support students and teachers in public schools.

    Chartered in 1997 Delevan's PTA has seen its membership grow from an initial handful of interested parents and teacher to over 100 members and growing.

    Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month(in the event the second Monday falls on a holiday the meeting will take place on Tuesday, the following day) in the Delevan Elementary School building.

    To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.

    To raise the standards of home life.

    To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

    To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

    To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
