Dr. Green connection in Academic Hall

On March 13, Pioneer Teacher Center hosted a special opportunity for teachers in the New York Teacher Centers’ Far West Regional Network, which encompasses Western New York.

Teachers remotely participated in a presentation led by Dr. Ross Greene in real-time. During this presentation, Dr. Greene provided an introduction to the basic themes of his Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) model.

The CPS model provides a compassionate understanding of students' behavioral challenges and a non-adversarial, trauma-informed, effective approach for reducing challenging behavior, improving communication, and repairing relationships with children.

Six area districts joined the call in the high school Academic Hall, and dozens of other districts and Teacher Centers via Zoom software. Thanks to Chittenango CSD for organizing the event.
