Art Show attendees

Arcade Historical Society held its annual Winterfest K-12 Art Show, which began during Winterfest and continued through the end of February. The show was held for the first time at the society's newly revamped space at the old fire hall and municipal building on Liberty Street.

Those who attended the show could vote on the the People's Choice Awards, which was also a first-time addition. With 227 votes cast, the Historical Society awarded prizes to the following students: 

1st Place: Meg Albino, Grade 11, for her self-portrait in colored pencil.

2nd place: Mackenzey Holmes, Grade 11, for "Marilyn" , an acrylic accordion illusion.

3rd place: Amelia Maul, Grade 10, for her ceramic piece "A Moment of Silence."
