Welcome to the 2019-20 school year from the Pioneer High School Student Government!

We are so excited for a year packed full of fun and spirit. The activities and games on the home turf are already in full swing, so don’t forget to stop by the concession stand at every home football game (Sept. 28, Oct. 11, Oct. 18) to support the student government. The stand is now featuring ramen noodles and tacos in a bag, but don’t forget about the classics like hot dogs, pizza, pop and candy.

Also, Homecoming week begins on Monday, Oct. 7th,  and is full of great events.

1.      Mismatch/Pattern/ Crazy Sock day Monday

2.      Tacky Tuesday Tourist/ Hawaiian Day Tuesday

3.      Meme day Wednesday

4.      Decades day Thursday

5.      Pioneer Spirit Day/ Camouflage Day/ Code Green Friday

Returning this year is the hallway decorating contest, with some modifications due to fire code regulations.

On Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m., there will be the Power-Puff game where the girls get their game faces on to compete class-to-class. Come out to support us; it is sure to be a fun night followed by a big bonfire.

Get ready for Friday, Oct. 11, with an awesome pep rally during the school day to recognize the clubs and sports. There will also be fun games like Kahoot, relay races, dueling class advisors and much more!

Also, don’t forget about the trophy for the class with the most school spirit. This great week will end with the Homecoming Varsity football game on the turf, Friday, Oct. 11th at 7:00 p.m. We hope to see everyone there!
