Our Character word for the month of May is Fairness
 Some examples of fairness are: taking turns, playing by the rules, treating everyone with respect and being honest to yourself and your classmates.
 
Our Character word for the month of April is Perseverance
 Some examples of perseverance are: completing a task, even when it becomes boring, difficult or discouraging.
 
Our Character word for the month of March is Trustworthiness.
 Some examples of trustworthiness are: showing that you are loyal by standing up for family and friends, showing that you are reliable by turning in your homework every day, turning in items that do not belong to you into the lost and found, and doing what you say you are going to do.
 
Our Character word for the month of February is Citizenship.
 Some examples of citizenship are: picking up trash in the halls, being friendly to a new student and participating in school-wide functions such as RIF day.
 
Our Character word for the month of January is Resilience.
 Some examples of resilience are: talking to a friend about their problems, using journaling or drawing to channel feelings, or taking a walk instead of outwardly showing anger or frustration.
 
Our character word for the month of December is Caring.
 Some examples of caring are: never be mean or hurtful, help people in need, treat people with kindness and generosity.
 
Our character word for the month of November is Generosity.
 Some examples of generosity are: freely sharing what you have with others, donating an item to the Food Pantry, or helping a friend in need.
 
Our character word for the month of October is Responsibility.
 Some ways to show responsibility are completing your assignments, getting to class on time and accepting the consequences for your choices.
