Course description: Prerequisite: Level I. Level II emphasizes meaning and communication on an intermediate level. A functional approach is utilized which aligns each grammar point to its role in communication. The main goal is communication and mastery of the four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  Global awareness is again explored through study of cultural units. Students will take a local exam covering levels I and II at the end of the course.
