    Class: Mrs. Stachowiak's English 11 Honors classes
    Assignment: Position Paper
    Topics: 1) College Aid for Illegal Immigrants or 2) Tablets replace textbooks in K-12 schools or 3) Does the Safe Act make citizens safe?
    Learning Goal: After this lessons, students will be able to find targeted resources on a specific topic and viewpoint using LMC databases

    Find them on the LMC homepage under Electronic Research Databases and e-books.

    Tips and Tricks for Databases
    - Always search full text when the option is available
    - Do not type in questions.  Use keywords.
    - Be flexible with your keywords and search terms.  For example, a student researching race discrimination could also search racism, discrimination, etc...
    - Use the print option in the database, not File --> Print.

    Books
    Select mythology books have been placed on the purple cart.  If you need something else, do a quick OPAC search.

    If you use the databases and online encyclopedias, your citations are basically done for you!
