1st Grade Music

  • 1st Grade music is a continuation of work done in Kindergarten.  Music is explored through singing, moving, and playing classroom instruments.  The activities and lessons dig deeper into musical concepts.  1st Grade features a unit on Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf in which the students are introduced to the Instruments of the Orchestra and how music can tell a story.
