• Academic Intervention Services (AIS) is a term used to describe extra instructional services provided to support students who are at risk of not meeting state standards. Students are identified for these services based on multiple assessment measures such as iReady Diagnostic, Teacher Recommendation, and NYS Assessment. As students progress through school they naturally have developed gaps. This may be due to absences or a lack of true comprehension when the concept was first presented.

This AIS instruction is provided in a small group so as to address the individual needs of each student.
