Mrs. M's Biography*Grew up in West Falls, New York (and to this day, West Falls is still in my heart).
*Today I live in Java Center with my 3 amazing kids.* Graduated from East Aurora High School*Attended College at SUNY Brockport for two years*Attended the State University College at Buffalo and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology in 1998*Recieved a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology, with honors, in 2000 from the State University College at Buffalo.*In 2001, became certified as a New York State Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped, this certification is still held*In 2001, became a New York State Licensed and Certified Speech Language Pathologist, this license is still held*In 2001, became a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), this membership is still held*In 2004, began working for Pioneer Central School District*In 2006, entered a new position completing speech and language evaluations for the district at Arcade, Delevan, Middle and High School*In 2008, opened the SPLAT Lab. The SPLAT Lab stands for SPeech Litearcy and Assitive Technology. The SPAT Lab is a merging of Speech and Language services with Assistive Technology. This lab is a valuable resource for parents and students at the Middle School level.*In the 2008- 2009 school year, Mentored two Speech Pathologists at Arcade and Delevan*In 2009-2010 school year, mentored the new Speech Pathologist at the High School*In 2011-2012 school year, mentored the Speech Pathologist at Arcade Elementary
